About Our Classes

We separate the courses and classes we run into several categories:

Kushi Level Kushi Levels: A series of intensive macrobiotic training courses, from level 1 to Level 4, accredited by the Kushi Macrobiotic School Japan.

Class Classes: Talks and demonstrations.

Course Courses: Classes that take place over multiple days.

Workshop Workshops: Like classes and courses but with a higher degree of hands-on practical work.

Relaxed and Fun Plant-Based/Macrobiotic Cookery Courses for Health in the Heart of Mid Sussex

Immerse yourself in a wonderful culinary experience at our 'home school' in the nurturing surroundings of Santa Gertrudis in the peaceful countryside in Ibiza.

We offer many popular macrobiotic cooking events, where our students can enjoy inspiring cookery demonstrations and sample delicious plant-based, seasonal dishes.  In addition we offer a wide selection of hands-on cookery workshops for small groups, providing you with tips and skills to save time and increase your confidence in the kitchen.

Our cooking classes are led by Nicola McCarthy, and all our teachers are experienced macrobiotic chefs, showing you how a plant-based diet can support excellent health, while keeping the entire family happy and satisfied.

All our dishes are seasonal and where possible made with organic fruit and vegetables, grown by local organic farmers.  We also focus on more unusual health-giving macrobiotic ingredients, and we will teach you how to create balance and harmony using these and through the food that we choose to eat.

The school has limited accommodation (which can be booked separately) and there are other options for accommodation nearby that we can help you with on request.
